Common seal (optional section)

Common seals are optional under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. If your society decides to have a common seal, include this rule to provide clarity around how the seal is stored and used.

Bylaws (optional section)

The Act expressly empowers societies to make bylaws if they choose. This rule is often found in society constitutions and enables a society's committee to deal with issues that do not need to be in a society constitution.
